We want you to have all the information up front, with no surprises. If you return the vehicle in good condition, clean, with the agreed fuel level and on time, you won't have any extra charges. Here we explain, by type, the charges that can apply and when.
All justified charges are deducted from the security deposit or charged to the card provided as a guarantee. We always inform you of any charge, with its justification.
Fuel
If you return the vehicle with less fuel than it had at pick-up, you'll be charged for the missing fuel plus a €20 handling fee.
Cleaning

Smoking in the vehicle
Smoking inside the vehicle is not allowed. The smell or traces of tobacco are sufficient evidence and lead to a €50 charge.
Late return
If you return the vehicle 60 minutes or more after the agreed time, one additional rental day is charged. And if you don't let us know about the delay at least 24 hours in advance, a €50 charge is added.
Fines and penalties
If we receive a fine for an offence committed during your rental, we're legally required to identify the driver. This handling has a cost of €30 per fine. The penalty amount itself is not included and is your responsibility.

About the keys: delivering the spare key to your location is not included and is charged separately. If you return the original key within 7 calendar days of payment, we fully refund the cost of the key (not the delivery).
Damage from misuse of the vehicle
Comprehensive insurance covers damage from collision and theft, but it does not cover damage caused by incorrect use of the vehicle. We consider misuse, among other cases:
- Driving negligently or recklessly.
- Driving off paved roads (tracks, dirt paths), which damages the underbody.
- Filling up with a fuel other than the one specified, or letting the fuel, oil or AdBlue run out.
- Overloading the vehicle beyond its capacity.
- Interior damage from improper use.
- Failing to report a detectable breakdown and continuing to drive.
In these cases, the damage is charged to the driver. These are the guideline amounts (the final charge is based on the official assessment):

Remember that tyres and windows aren't covered by comprehensive insurance, but you can protect those two parts by adding tyre and windscreen cover when booking.
Leaving the permitted territory
The vehicle may only be driven within mainland Spain. Leaving without authorisation means losing the insurance cover outside the authorised territory, plus a penalty:
- Portugal: €600 plus €1 per kilometre driven since the start of the rental.
- France: €900 plus €1 per kilometre.
- Andorra: €900 plus €1 per kilometre.
